Honoring Partnership and Possibility: A Thank-You to Camelback Ventures

As we move through this season of gratitude, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the partners who help make our mission possible. At Teacher Apprenticeship Network, we know that real change happens when visionary organizations believe in under-resourced leaders and invest in their ability to transform systems. Camelback Ventures has been one of those rare partners—one that not only champions equity, but actively builds it.

For the past ten years, Camelback Ventures has been breaking barriers by providing capital, coaching, and community to more than 200 under-resourced founders. Their work goes far beyond any single program or cohort. It speaks to an ecosystem they are helping shape—one where millions of innovators can not only survive, but truly thrive.

This year, we had the privilege of being part of that legacy. Camelback’s fellowship served as both a catalyst and a community for our founder, Kwame Floyd, and for the evolution of Teacher Apprenticeship Network. Their team recognized the urgency of reimagining how we recruit and develop the next generation of educators, and they amplified our work at a pivotal moment.

We are deeply grateful that Camelback chose to highlight Kwame’s story in their recent message—a reminder of what is possible when talented leaders are met with belief, investment, and opportunity. Their support has helped unlock new pathways for TAN to expand our impact and continue building workforce-driven, community-centered routes into the classroom.
