Teacher Assisting a Student

Teacher Apprenticeship Program

Our flagship registered apprenticeship program allows aspiring teachers to work in schools while completing the coursework, test preparation, and mentored practice they need to become fully certified educators. Apprentices gain real classroom experience, earn a salary, and receive wraparound support to succeed.

Pre-Apprenticeship Program

For those not yet eligible for the apprenticeship, our pre-apprenticeship offers academic preparation, career readiness training, and mentoring to help candidates successfully transition into teacher apprenticeships. This program is ideal for recent graduates, paraprofessionals, or career changers needing extra support.

Teacher and Blackboard

Youth Transition to Teaching Program

Our YTTW program engages high school students and recent graduates, providing hands-on learning, dual enrollment opportunities, and exposure to teaching careers. YTTW builds an early pipeline of diverse, talented future teachers, setting them up for success in TAN’s pre-apprenticeship or apprenticeship tracks.
